How to Stay Married
This was indeed a crazy book; not that the events are so outlandish, but that the author actually wrote and published it. It's not a how-to - it's a memoir about his wife's affair and how they handled it. Harrison Scott Key is a humor writer (thus far?) and so makes a lot of jokes, but this is pretty crushing. Highly recommended. I sped thru it in an afternoon and I'm dying to talk to people about it now.

Possessing all the necessary virtues of a future Church of Christ preacher, including testicles and a love of my own voice, I had no choice but to give the sermon. I'd heard thousands of sermons in my young life, maybe too many. I have always felt pity for people who did this for a living. You try writing and delivering a new TED talk or two every week for ten or twenty or thirty years, based on a book nobody reads, baring your inmost thoughts for a crowd of friendlies who've heard it all before and strangers who'd rather be washing a cat.

And the voice of the LORD thundereth marvelously from the whirlwind and said, "Stop googling."
