Master and Commander
Somebody told me that despite its reputation, the series is quite good, and that I'd be hooked for the whole 20-volume set.
That was wrong. I'm totally not sold on this book; the characters seemed flat, and the nautical terms were bewildering. And I'm a guy that loves Moby-Dick!
