Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone

I read this aloud to the kids (we've started chapter books consistently, which is a big relief to me). I think we did this just right: it's a bit of a stretch for the kids to follow everything in the story, but they definitely got it. And the parts that seem just eye-roll-worthy (dumbledore's house points manipulation at the end) were just mind-blowing for the kids.
