Sea of Tranquility

Fun, dystopian scifi time travel pandemic book? Yes. Hugely self-referential character? Yes. Kind of incredible that she pulled this off without making me hate her? YES.

Spoiler alert here but this is basically Cloud Atlas, but then connecting the jumps with a time travel story. Almost at the center is an author who wrote a book about a pandemic which was then made into a very successful movie, the author has to go on a book tour to promote this old book - and while on tour is threatened by another pandemic. So it’s really just ESJM and Station Eleven! I honestly couldn't believe the balls of doing such a transparent self-insert and I definitely have questions.
