The Forever War
War story that I assume has a lot of Vietnam resonances, but doesn't land much for me. Saving my real thoughts for book club discussion later, but one thing I finally identified: I have very little affinity for books where the protagonist very clearly enjoys... military culture, I think. Like, not the basics about war and battle and logistics and stuff, but more like enjoys discussions about COs and PT and rack time and stuff?
