Where the Drowned Girls Go

These books are all so short, the series is going fast. These are all pretty standalone tales, but with overlapping character sets. Some feel like great fairy tale / fables fleshed out to a novella. Some feel like McGuire just wants to write for the X-men, with the 'wayward children' sometimes having... powers. In this one, our heroine decides she DOESN'T want to go back, and so finds her way to the Whitethorn Institute, the shadow school for children who want to forget their otherworldly adventure. Meh.
