Matilda

Re-reading this with the kids for bedtime stories. We'd tried this years ago when they were much smaller, and they weren't into it. But they've read and heard lots of the other Roald Dahl books, but weirdly not this one (or James and the Giant Peach, which we read next). This is I think my favorite Dahl book. Just the right amount of fantastic, with a great outrageous villain and delighfully weird. And FUN to read out loud.
