Strickler's big framework is that we should extend our thinking beyond 'how does this affect me, now?' to 'how does this affect everybody, in the future?' - which is maybe not a real ethically high bar. But he's got it wrapped in a simple rubric (me -> us, now -> tomorrow) that makes the process relatively visual and processable.

This is a kind of obvious book, but something that still feels like everybody ought to think more about. It feels like a favorite of mine, Small is Beautiful.
