Nemesis Games

Continuing on this series, the authors shake things up appropriately. The core team is split up into 4 storylines, and I didn't mind a bit, with most of the action happening with our three lesser heroes. And the stakes were raised in a really surprising way, some irrevocable changes made that I was honestly VERY surprised by. I'm really impressed by the series.
