Strange Weather in Tokyo

One of the few Japanese contemporary novels I've read that aren't Murakami. Interesting, and inevitable, to compare and contrast! A driftless protagonist, very detailed food descriptions, and a constant repeating of the other person's conversation. Repeating? she said. Yes, they repeat each other, I affirmed.
