All the Beauty in the World

Oh man, I loved this book. Short, sweet, well written but breezy. Heartfelt but with a light touch. The sales line is 'after my brother died I took a guard job at the Met to just stand around and soak up the beauty,' but it's better than that.

I'm definitely fascinated with museums, and I love the Met. It's set in a place I adore, gives enough details about how guarding works that you get a behind-the-scenes feel - but I’m sure he gives away nothing that would like, help you steal a painting.
